PMTA
Premarket Tobacco Product Applications(PMTA) is an application that must be reviewed and approved by Food and Drug Administration for any new tobacco products to be marketed in the United States. The application process involves seven stages: preparing, submitted, acceptance, filling, review, action, and postmarket reporting. Several products of ALD are under this process.

The TPD aims to improve the functioning of the internal market for tobacco and related products while ensuring a high level of health protection for European citizens.
